HAVE A JOYFULLY HOPEFUL YEAR OF 2018

google.com photo
Before the year 2017 ended,  I expressed my earnest desire to continue blogging.  When my daughter got sick,   I reviewed some of those things I promised to God that I would do to trade with Him so that my daughter would get well.  I know God does not really think that way.  However, there is no such thing as “accident” or coincidence with him.  There must be reason why that thought crossed my mind.

The year 2009 was the year that I started writing my heart out through blogging which led into publishing my own book.  One book led to another.  And right at this very moment, I am finishing my third.  Could it be “coincidence” in 2008?  Man thinks that way but God uses situations in our lives to discover some things about us that may need to come out for His purpose which is “for others”.  Always for others.

I have been running words in my mind from time to time.  And I should say the writer in me tends to formulate words and concepts associating them with the varied situations in my life.  But I always say the words “too busy to write them down”.  I feel that I am gifted with a restless mind in order to put them into writing.

The earlier motivation to write began during those times when I wanted to continue giving seminars and trainings. However, at some point in the past, I did not have much opportunity to give them.   It was always my desire to reach out  to a wider audience and it dawned on me how writing could do that.  I started a blog site in 2009 with that vision.  To reach out to a wider audience.  Looking back I felt I succeeded despite at times I felt my blog site was like a “snail” slowly achieving its purpose and intention.

Going back into the promise that shaped in my mind during such struggle of “begging God” to heal my daughter last month (December 2017), I knew that my purpose is to really reach out, stay simple and humble. Thus, even if this blog site may appear like a “snail mail”.  It will continue to thrive and flourish... tested by time from the ups and downs of the life’s true journey.

I like God’s wisdom.  It whispers like a strong wind in the midst of a super turbulent storm.

Have a Joyfully Hopeful Year of 2018!

The Seminar on Intellectual Property Information

My sister Gay excitedly announced to me through a phone call that I should thank me with her news.  She met someone that could give me a seat for a seminar for the copyright of my "soon to be published book".  I stood up from my seat with such a loud cry of excitement.

You see, it has been more than two years since I finished writing a book. From time to time i would add up articles that may enflesh some topics until i felt it was done.  I have been praying for God's intervention on what might be the next wise move to make other than finding the editor that might be able to journey with me in this great adventure.  When editing was almost done, I felt I met someone (Ms. Joy Tamayo, the manager of the book center of Xavier University)  who led me into having it self-published. She sat with me and shared how one professor of the university had successfully done it.  Again, my heart leaped with the joy (as she is named:-) ) at doing the same.

And now with that idea in mind, my sister announced the invitation from her very close friend Ms. Jessie Abear from the Department of Trade of Industry who facilitated the seminar so that Intellectual Property Office Philippines will be able to present it on August 27, 2014.

Gave my response on behalf of the Participants as the Closing remarks of the program:-)

Thank you dear God for paving, leading and opening the vast passage for me to be able to publish the book. God truly opens the doors when the right time comes.  He will lead you to the right people and opportunities to make your plans a reality.  Amen praise the Lord.... Halleluiah...:-)

Being and Staying In Love with My Husband....

Allow me to be romantic today.  It is not that I woke up with the twinkling of stars in my eyes.  I did not come from sleep.  I always fall asleep...hahahaha just joking.  I feel so wide awake realizing that being and staying in love is something that we create and re-create each day like that of an artist that does his craft in the eyes that see beyond the physical dimension.

Since the day I and my husband tied the knot in marriage, I and him have seen so many things about us that we didn't expect we had such as the intensity of our temper and yet the effort to hold it for the sake of not really hurting each other that much.

I had my moments of those tempting and challenging thoughts such as the question "why did i marry this man?" and " i might as well decide to separate with him", etc.  Ohh the last one made me goose skinned and hit me to the bones.  It always made me go back to the time when we were so in love and that were tested in our relationship several times over and my husband ...my boyfriend then never gave up at least ones.  He stood still with the fight for both us.  It was only I that got weakened but still he held me up to stay on his side.

Being in love and staying in love is the most challenging part with married couples.  In the house you don't fake yourself in front of your husband or wife.  You are so you regardless of what the other person thinks.

I felt that with the worst in us both, we were not pleased at all.  It even shocked me to realize the worst in me.  But as I decide to give us both chances at loving, I realize I was giving the same to myself.

I feel so radiant and beautiful in front of my husband.  You know why?  He made me feel that.  He always had those cute surprises such as giving me that wonderful smile in the morning with his hug that says "you are my beautiful wife and thank you for loving me".  Yes I read that everytime he does that.

Let me share with you his latest surprise.  He went to the mall one night and came back with his announcement " i have a gift for my wife..."  And he added  straight talking to me "it will simplify and organize your life... and it suits your lifestyle".  That one made me almost leaped and dance.  Yet, i was stopped when he said he would give it only when our daughter was asleep. Still with excitement I insisted that he would give it with our daughter as witness...hehe cute.  And it was such a grand introduction for a ...sling  bag. He added, "I have one to for myself ...much bigger than yours..."  And I thought..."cute...we're like twins...hahaha i mean lovebirds with uniform sling bags...walking hand in hand".

I saw how happy he was.  I was so happy and thanked him for such a surprise.  But honestly, I was thinking of the pretty hand bag that I wanted so much to buy...which i thought if he just told me that he'd buy one I would have recommended that one.  Hmmm....selfish meeeehhh...

But Oh...i love my husband.  I love his little, simple, cute ways of expressing himself to us, his temper, grouchiness, patience, and all.  I learned a lot journeying with him and his openness discussing things with me and growing with me.

At times,   I would hear him say "THANK YOU" without any words after that but an embrace for me and our little girl. When he starts to grouch, we had an agreement that we would remind each other so that's what I did and he would slowly pick up.

I love Michael...my dear husband.   The "cloud 9 feeling"  infatuation defined as love when we were younger turned out to be a decision to be and just stay in love ...to stick through and with each other no matter what.

We did not marry long enough to say that we had all the learnings to wrap in one package but i would say we are such a perfect pair blessed and watered by prayers that we say together as a family.

Thank you God:-)

PS:  Our theme song...which i always sing and dance with our daughter..."Kung tayo'y matanda na...sana'y 'di tayo magbago...kailan man ....nasaan man...ikaw ang pangarap ko...ang nakalipas ay ibabalik natin wowowo"... now i am starting to feel like a howling dog nyahahhahahahah

There is Light...There is Hope:-)

https://www.behance.net/gallery/154422/Light-of-Hope

I watched X-Men the other day...hmm with the permission of my dear husband.  It's one of my favorite movies ever since.  And I was able to capture the line stated by the older Charles to the younger one "Just because someone has fallen does not mean they have no chance at getting up".  I do hope i stated that right.  Why am I sharing this?  I just met four people that have become signs of God's hope for me today.

First was my professor whom i approached for the reason that i have lost all my notes and that i was full of fear i might not be able to answer the questions during my exam.  She just told me to browse the net and look into anything that i could read about the topic.  That was quite a relief since that was what i did for the past days already.  I felt so relaxed after that.  Thank you God for that expression of hope.

Second was I met one of the Canteen's staffs that i thought i accidentally talk with after years not seeing her.  She expressed that she could not have a baby.  While conversing with her, I surprised myself sharing that she could expect so much from God's provision.  "God is so generous.  The strong and deep faith of man is God's weakness. And the thing that He could not resist and could not do is to stop loving us".

Truly I said that line with deep conviction.  I felt His presence wanting to be felt by that person through me as His instrument.  I have almost forgotten being an instrument.  Hmmm that experience was a great comeback.

I met the third person when I was about to go out of the canteen.  He was asking me where I am now working and how i have been doing.  As I was answering him, I remember how swift and natural I was and the peaceful feeling that where I am is where I should be.  I strongly felt that hope and light.

I met the last person when I was about to walk out of the campus, right in front of the Chapel (place of worship).  He was my colleague in the previous school where I worked for 10 years.  It was great recalling the many sacrifices, graces and growth in ourselves despite the many challenges.

Yes there is light...there is hope.  Like Wolverine from movie X-men when he almost drowned at the end part of the movie yet was saved and ...I assume X-men series continues after that...Hmmm Light...hope ...that is how i feel right now...And i move on with head up high to the heavens...:-) Amen

Trying To Get Back

Voila….I’m back.  What is the drama now?  Nothing.  I just want to send the message that this blog is still alive and I am so alive and so inspired!!!!  Hahhaha Truly and dearly.  I realized  that writing makes me happy.  And that I have been walking around trying to write something in my mind which I can’t just put into this computer.  I feel that I am wasting a lot of time desiring it.  To solve that?  I just have to sit and write no matter what.

To be honest?  I did not have any nanny and housekeeper for more than a month now.  It is a long story why.  Yet I hope to be able to post in here the story some day soon.  So I have been juggling doing wifely, mommy, and housekeeping at the same time.  Of course my husband is alternating and my oh so dear sister who has been offering such help from sometimes cleaning to taking care of Mikaela.   And I rejoice at every part of it despite of the tough, tough times we have.

All things shall pass away…. including our current situation.  I still declare that our daughter is a joyful addition to our small family.  I rejoice to God that there are members of our family that are willing to extend such help.  I and my husband just feel so blessed at that.  Thank you dearest God…Ohhh halleluiah:-)

Life Begins At "40"...

Here is a confession.  I turned 40 on January 8.  Haaaah...you need not count backwards.  I was born in the year 1974.  Oops why am i telling you my age?. Ohhhhhhhhhh noooooo.  But..ohhhh Yess...I will never stop myself from doing that.  I was inspired by one very popular author whose book I came across with 4 or 5 years ago named Eckhart Tolle mentioned a thought that sounds like ...if you hide your age, you have not really lived your life well in that particular age...

Big ooopps... after that, I declared I will never hide my age from anyone...hahha just to fake that I lived my life well.  Did I?  I cannot really totally say that.  But again i am ready for my answer anytime I am asked about age hahahha....But seriously, I have seen a little truth about it.  When i was warned several times over by friends to never ask them about age.

You know what i have observed?  Let me start with the younger ones - adolescents....they want to look older so they dress up like adults.  But the older ones haaah ...that does not exclude me...we like to look younger. That is a little crazy ha.  But from the year that i declared that I was prepared for  to declare to anyone that would ask?  I felt and look much younger.  I just feel that truth and honesty relieved a lot of that tension from my body.  Waaahahahah please don't shut me off hahahah....and allow me to continue to blah blah blah blah ...perhaps there may be some truth about what i have in here that may spark you a bit hahaha....begging you ha.

They say life begins at 40.  I had mine almost 5 years ago.  I started to live life truly and with a lot of those struggles to be honest.  Ohh my ...it is not really easy.  But if if others define "LIFE BEGINS AT 40" to be the age that you start to do strange things that you did not do when you were younger or let out those issues went out and just burst so that others would just start doing foolish things that they may find it difficult to undo.  Hmmm there you are hitting the red light button of the biggest alarm in your life.

Forty years of my life.  Hmmm and I am counting all the blessings that I have right now and the many beautiful learnings that have gathered by God's grace through the presence of my beautiful family - husband Michael and our daughter Maria Mikaela...and oops...my beautiful sisters below, my two brothers, and our beloved parents papa dodo and our late mama Gloria:-)...

Truly an Amazing God:-) Amen:-)  moving forward God...to my 41st...and beyond:-)

with my lovely sisters Grace, Gina and the yougnest - Gay......
m wd the black blouse...do I look 40? nyahahahhaa oops

THE JOYFULLY HOPEFUL ADVOCACY

The following is a repost stating how i started with the Joyfully Hopeful Advocacy...read on please ... God bless you all:-)... this was posted in 2010 ....

I did not imagine something like this can and may happen. What i thought to be just a "simple" participation in Spiritual Direction with Fr. Frank Savadera, SJ that started last January 2010 brought out the "fruit" of an advocacy called JOYFULLY HOPEFUL... which he himself coined from the life experiences i initially shared in the earlier part of the encounter.

Sharing my life here would be a long - long story. i would rather state the fact that from the dirt, scratch, loses, pains, etc. i learned to rise... Fr. Frank (i believe) inspired by the Spirit, suddenly stated in one of the sessions we had, "i feel hopeful for you...joyfully hopeful".

And, that's it, i picked up the line in one of my prayer times and attached it to the "accidental talent" that i engaged in during my period of "career inactivity" hahahahha in short...walang trabahao. walang magawa sa buhay kundi mag browse ng internet - t shirt designing with the sayings that have become instrumental (in part) for me to "pick up" again from life.

And so the advocacy called JOYFULLY HOPEFUL was born on March 2010. A prayer was also composed to highlight the said advocacy. With the effort to introduce it to the public, it has slowly gained its momentum through the t shirts that were first released the recent Holy Week (2010)at the Divine Mercy Shrine and Malasag, Cagayan de Oro city. Some were also sold to particular individuals who have appreciated the messages plus the prayer uniquely attached to the shirts. Those who bought including Fr. Frank (actually his idea to attach the prayer) himself, commented that they never found such a style in a shirt.

The recent effort of a medical doctor named Dr. Catherine Verendia (provincial hospital, cdo) who believed in such advocacy brought out a "miracle" through several doctors who have purchased the shirt with the message "DOING GOD'S BUSINESS WITH PLEASURE". She said that the message itself was a challenge to their practice at the hospital. Moreover, it surprised us to receive orders from 2 Muslim doctors who expressed their interest to wear the shirt bearing the same message.

And so the story of the advocacy continues to unfold from the sharing of different individuals whose lives have been touched - from the seller of the shirt last holy week that stated "if not for the shirt, i would have not joined a healing session at the Divine Mercy Shrine"....to a friend that stated "thank you for bringing your spirituality to our family"

Recently, Fr. Frank included the advocacy in his homily at the Carmelite Monastery in CDO, that led to another breakthrough (charing...grabe talaga na partnership....amen!!!)of shirts being sold by bulk through the nuns. And from these the production team (another char char...hahahhah...nang Vangie, ging2, reynante, jr, my sister gina and my honey mike are into an innovative work of creating more new products by contacting suppliers for key chain, mugs, tumblers, and nang vangie doing the bags and a lot, lot more...kahit ano daw pwede pasukan for the apostolate. Amazingly, the team has so much fun creating the products despite some difficulties encountered. The same team serves as the advocacy's prayer "warriors"...amen (para battle ano? hahahhaha)

i thought then, this can't be an accident, right. Well i was presented with an idea from Fr. Frank himself, that there is no such thing as accident in life. There can be reasons for why things happen. And i believe, it just can't be anyone else's reason...but God's...

...and i can't just end this with the last statement above. i feel i can't thank Him enough for my SD Fr. Frank thathave patiently guided me towards finding Him that i miss so much all these years. And of course.. i thank Fr. Norlan Julia, SJ that started such assistance last year ...for his warmth and confidence sa akin and who initiated and introduced me to another spiritual director :-) ...

Salamat sa inyo duha ka mga SDs nako heheh...talawan kaayo ko sa una to engage in spiritual direction. Ang galing galing ng Panginoon to send you both to me...my guardian angels dito sa lupa hehehheheh ...Amen.

A Plunge Into My Neophyte Parenting Skills

Yes... I just gave a parenting seminar to a group of employees of a particular company here in Cagayan de Oro City.  Well those that know me would not be able to believe it since I was and am  only married for 2 years and 2 months with a 1 year and 5 month old baby.   So I am just a parent for the latters span of time.

Now I can imagine what your next question would be.  "How could a 1 year old parent give parenting training to employees who are older in parenting years than her?"  But please just spare me for a while for such curiosity.  Just allow me to stress that when I met ate Joy, a friend and at same time the Parenting seminar organizer of their company, I declare that it was never an accident.  I just felt that time that with my course, background in giving trainings and my advocacy of raising emotionally intelligent children, God wanted me to share what I’ve got.  How could I say NO to Someone whose strength and confidence I felt to have commissioned me to go and do the formation.

During the seminar, of course the introduction sounded like “  I am not here as an expert.  I am here to facilitate, share,  listen and learn from you”  (hahaha such a great armor of defense).   Young as I am in parenting would mean that there are a lot of things that I can learn from the participants themselves ( hmmm i liked so much listening from the 'older' ones' stories).  I felt so confident with that.   And then I just felt that the participants were so alive, participative and we had so much fun during the sessions.

Though there was not much time allocated with so many things that I wanted so much to share, I felt that I have maximized and shared what the participants deserved to get.  I was just so amazed that after the seminar, the committee evaluation favoured my delivery that they wanted me to handle the future batches.

God is so good… God is so great…AmenJ ...

PS...for the next batches...i hope to share and strengthen ...family spirituality...this is one thing that i regretted that i slightly touched:-)  way to go dearest God :-)

HUMILITY EQUALS TRUTH

http://www.zazzle.ca/erasmus+tshirts
I heard the title above from a priest that delivered his Sunday homily at the Church’s pulpit.  It rang like a loud Church bell signalling the churchgoers to come and join the “festive” celebration to remain humble in the midst of life’s circumstance.

What did that priest discuss about it?  Acceptance of the truth about ourselves is tantamount to being humble and vise versa.  Humility is a challenge.  We like to polish ourselves in  front of people.  We want to put on the best curtain during fiesta.  Or bring out the best set of plates and silverwares to entertain our guests at home (I observed my own mother doing this since my childhood years).

When I was a kid, I would wear new dress during special celebrations like birthday, Christmas and fiesta.  In my school projects, I would strive to lavishly decorate my projects to get higher marks believing that it could tempt teachers to give me higher rating if I did it (which I did heheh).

Moreover, I had low self-esteem in my high school years so I hid in silence not really and fully participating for fear that I may be misjudged by my classmates.  I never participated in the school’s student government nor I became an officer of major organization in school except for the small time club that I joined in fourth year where I happen to be appointed as the president since there was no other “more qualified one” among the members.

Even with my family financial status, there was nothing to boast.   My father was only a high school graduate.  He got married at the age of 19 or 20 years old.  He had to double his effort being a simple labourer of a pineapple company.  My mother was a fulltime housewife.  Yet, realizing that the family needs more financial help, they had to have other means of supporting us.  Papa started rent a farm while mama started her small broiler chicken business.

There were 6 of us children that had to be fed, clothed and sent to school.  I could not imagine how they were able to sustain all of us but they did with so much commitment and dedication.  When I was in college, all my older 4 siblings have graduated.  While I was on my way to finishing mine, my mother passed away through a vehicular accident.  I was left so lost and almost stopped my studies.  But God’s grace and divine intervention I survived that tough test.

When I was so close to pain, I felt “naked” with the reality that life can just end anytime.  It humbles me to realize that I have no hold to life except those small things that I can manage and control …just within my reach.  But even those can be surrendered, lifted up and offered to God realizing that I do not own anything in this world.  That is the truth.  And that for me is humility.

Now I am living with a very simple truth.  I am married.  I no longer live alone.  I like the idea of going home from work seeing my daughter and husband  at night (i go home a little late than most of the workers i think...i do afternoon and night classes) so excited for me to be home.  At the moment, we only rent a small house in a low-cost housing subdivision.  Yet I joyfully celebrate having my oh so beautiful family …AMEN AND  THANK YOU GOD!!!!!

One day soon, we will have our own house that will become our “love nest”… GOD NEST OF LOVE…..  Yet and still, I would highly consider having such a simple structure of a house called home bathed in the abundance of love, simplicity, humility, etc.  And I would contain in my heart the truth that simple things in life are so lavish and made available to everyone.  I just have to open my heart for its overflowing life’s supplyJ

Will you join me and be ready to take life’s overflowing?  Just one tip though…bare yourself before God…inorder to see His lavishness and abundanceJ

FROM “SENDONG” TO “PABLO” …and a lot more that followed

http://i1.tribune.com.pk/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/628509-typhoon-1383810254-218-640x480.jpg
I was frightened when a colleague in the workplace mentioned a prediction that says, the entire Philippines will be another Africa in the future.  Or that it will be erased from the world map.  No I am not joking.  I heard someone mentioned that.  And it frightened me so much.

When I was single, stories like that did not really hit me that hard.  You know why?  I was single anyway so I have nobody with me that I may be protecting or that I may be afraid that I would be leaving someone helpless.  Now that I am married, stories like that put me to the height and torturous imagination of what would happen with the helpless child that I brought forth by God grace and provision (Amen praise God).

Cagayan de Oro has experienced its worst when Sendong hit us.  With Pablo, my daughter was already with us.  Yet she taught me one beautiful lesson in the middle of that storm.  While I and my husband had our prayer / hourly vigil (Rosary, Divine mercy novena) with the lighted candle, our dear daughter was so peacefully asleep while I caught myself so frightened not for myself but for her.

I could recall, how I stated, “dear God save…not for me but please …for my daughter”.   While I continually stated that in my mind, I stopped realizing how God has brought  His peace so present in the person of our daughter.

At present, again feel so insecure about how nature has changed so much.  Several typhoons have hit the country including earthquake.   It pains my heart to see TV news at night stating and counting number of persons that died, properties that were damaged, livelihood that were lost, buildings and houses that were destroyed and a lot more.

I see the loss of hope in the  eyes of men women in the affected areas.  I have asked God several times over “Why these have to happen?”  And still I ended up deciding to let go despite the pain that crept in me.
Why do many of us  have to die or blood has to shed before we would be able to wake up from deep, dreamy, so lost and sinful state? When do we realize that we contribute so much to the weight of what has happened around.

I do believe we connect with each other and to nature.  That there are consequences to our actions and they all go back to us.  We need to go back to the most basic.  We need to go back to our source.  We need to realize that God is talking to us through these.  We need to realize that man has to wake up and go back ….TO GOD…J  We need not waste time.. It has to happen…NOW…  By all means we need to bring ourselves to our knees and look up…WE NEED TO PRAY AND GO BACK ..TO GOD.

A Looking Back to Our First Year of Marriage:-)

opefu

This writing will be all about moving back to the previous year of my marriage with my husband Michael  up to our wedding anniversary that we just celebrated:-)

First was the very rocky and challenging preparations we had for our wedding last October 1, 2011 ... and yup ...after almost 12 years in the relationship:-)

Second.. was my fear after almost 2 months of marriage that I might not get pregnant immediately due to a little "rough" age ...hmmm i mean a little late jump and hump into the married life ...and yes at the age of 37 years old:-) shocking to you?  ... Those who who know us are not.  They have been waiting also for such a long time or else ... hahahha...

Pregnancy Test - January 2012
Third...was when I found out that last January 15, 2012 (during the feast of the Sto NIno), that I was month and a half pregnant...ohhh and it was a rejoice halleluiah moment for us husband and wife.

Fourth, was my crazy and "OA" preparations for my baby such as writing a program for her formation.  Hmmm yes I can see your face twisting and questioning just how in the world could one give a formation to a fetus!!!.  Hahhahaha just as simple as talking, listening to a music (from the most solemn Christian music to the wackiest of all rock and roll including nursery rhymes hahhahah)  praying, reading stories with moral lessons (I downloaded from the net 100 stories PDF version..wow...actually mommy cried while reading...hmm I seem to be getting the lessons first), watching movies, etc.  All of these came with touches on my tummy.

I also did some actual coloring and tracing on paper while I explained as if Mika was in front of me  and touch my tummy about what I did.  Do you know why I did this?  My OB doctor told me to start stimulating while the baby is inside the womb.  And the  obedient me just did anything I can to create the drama of a lifetime (just love being crazy ha :-).

And..where did I get those stuffs that I did?  Nowhere except some of those moments when I just imagined how I would entertain and make her learn at the same time.  I am highlighting entertainment rather than creating an impression that it is being imposed.

And I also did Mika's first scrapbook..some kind of putting together some "milestones" (according to my friend amphie in her blog)  documenting special moments of my pregnancy (and beyond) such as photos of ultrasound and fetal scan and many more.

some of the few stuffs given to Mika
Fifth was the putting together, receiving gifts from Tita Mae, Tita Joyce, Tito Marco of Mikaela and her cousins Andrea and Aethan....clothes...lots of clothes ...and the cute, pretty silver shoes:-)  ...so grateful for the gifts ..(BIG THANKS TO ALL OF YOU / THEM :-) ).  We did not really buy much of those stuffs.

Sixth was the very challenging... unexpected and premature delivery of our daughter Maria Mikaela last July 28, 2012 that put us at a great "halt" with life.  I mean I did a lot of reflecting and "seeing" beyond what was superficial right after that incident giving us couple "seeing" more of our life journey as a family with God:-)...  A beautiful entry of our daughter despite the challenge (id rather call it that way than seeing it as a "problem":-) .

And now...after 1 year of marriage ...we are a family... Our first year of marriage brought forth so much of blessings...more than anything...was the coming of our daughter Maria Mikaela.  She is just a wonderful and the best gift that God gave us for the past 1 year of marriage:-)
You see some our dear friends have asked us how we were able to have a child immediately after the wedding.  I just had to boast of one thing.  God is a faithful God...After the longest wait prior to the wedding, even and despite the fear, He dispensed His blessings (I am praying for my wonderful friends that have desired so much to have children) and the best of all is our daughter Mikaela... I am more than grateful to God for such:-)

Lastly, celebrating our simple first wedding anniversary yesterday (October 1, 2012) was such a joyful one that led to a greater hope for the future.

A big toast to my husband Michael for a Joyfully Hopeful marriage and to our daughter Maria Mikaela for coming into our lives:-)

From Politics to Sports

Char lang...this time, Joyfully Hopeful is invading the world of sports...hahahah i mean kids sports. Yesterday, i was offered by my sister to co sponsor the uniform of another soccer team. Since they are forming two different age groups of players, she was asking me to "adopt" the other kids group such that naming them THE JOYFULLY HOPEFUL KIDS soccer team...

I excitedly printed shirts for their uniform and of course showcase the shirts plus the streamer of the Joyfully Hopeful during their soccer game this weekend...whitweewww...

At this point, i guess, we need to look for other sponsors to support their needs (ug sugdan ko na hahahahhah). I need not act as the coach hahahaha over to the max...Dennis, my sis husband will do that for us...Amen...

...so how is that? ...from politics to the invasion of kids' sports - soccer ...Doing God's business ha...:-) At my end, i am slowly toying with the idea of giving them formation .....hahahahhaha ...pinaparaket ako ni God ngayon ...free raket hahahahahha

Evangelizing Politics

A friend named Mitch approached me for a request of printing campaign - shirts for his father who is running for "Kagawad" in the upcoming Barangay election - October 25, 2010. I have not really tried printing other than the Joyfully Hopeful Designs but this one may be a venue for evangelization. I did not really know how to come in as to putting in the JH advocacy prayer but when Mitch requested that the prayer be attached, my soul leaped for joy hahahhahah ..a new way of evangelizing politics...and our people...Amen ....
